Transfer CB Jordan Scruggs Commits to WVU Football After OV
Transfer cornerback Jordan Scruggs committed to WVU after his official visit over the weekend, per 247 Sports.
Scruggs, who entered the transfer portal on the first day it open on Dec. 1, recorded had 69 tackles, four tackles for a loss, a pair of pass breakups and an interception in 11 games during the 2024 season. He transferred to South Alabama after spending the 2023 season at Central Missouri, where he registered 37 total tackles.
Prior to CMU, Scruggs played at Washburn University in Topeka, Kan.
In addition to West Virginia, Scruggs has offers from schools like FAU, Colorado, WVU head coach Rich Rodriguez’s former team Jacksonville State, UNLV and Virginia Tech. He has already visited Virginia Tech.
Scruggs has one year remaining of eligibility.
