WVU Football Lands Tulane Kicker Ethan Head
WVU football has brought in Tulane kicker Ethan Head through the transfer portal, according to a report by Pete Nakos of On3 Sports.
Head, a sophomore, was a part-time kicker for Green Wave in 2024. He finished 4-5 on field goals with a long of 38 with all five attempts coming in a three-game stretch from September into October. His miss was from 39 yards.
Head was 18-21 on extra points across five games throughout the season. On kickoffs, Head recorded 50 touchbacks on 77 attempts. He had two kicks go out of bounds.
WVU has former transfer Michael Hayes as its primary kicker for the last two seasons. Hayes was 30-35 overall with a long of 52 after transferring in from Georgia State.
Other kickers currently on WVU’s roster are RJ Kocan and West Virginia natives Casey Stanley (Parkersburg) and Nate Flower (Fairmont). None of them have ever attempted a college field goal. Kocan made an extra point last season and Flower has kicked off once.
